Linda Hughes

Linda Hughes has been a dedicated member of the Shady Cove community for 24 years, where she deeply values the spirit and commitment of its citizens. Her journey with Jackson County Fire District 4 (FD4) began when she was appointed to fill a vacant seat on the Board of Directors. To her surprise, she quickly found a passion for the role and has since dedicated nearly 20 years to serving the district and advocating for its growth and sustainability.
Throughout her tenure, Linda has remained focused on ensuring that FD4 is well-equipped to meet the evolving needs of the community. Her leadership emphasizes responsible planning and resource management, ensuring that firefighters, staff, and volunteers have the tools they need to serve effectively.
Linda is also proud of her role in helping establish the FD4 Support Group, working alongside other dedicated community members to build an organization that continues to provide valuable assistance to the district. She believes in fostering a culture of pride and dedication among all staff, trusting that their passion and commitment will carry Jackson County Fire District 4 into the future.
